Merlin received a completely new interior including cabinetry, head and hull liners, air conditioning and water system and an entirely new electrical, lighting and electronic system using all American marine grade tinned wire and all new components, switchgear and fixtures. None of the potentially troublesome electronic switchgear commonly found on yachts today are used in Merlin. |

Merlins custom interior is both convenient and elegant, her spacious salon has dining table and seating for 8, wet bar with glass and bottle storage and ice maker, also chart table and navigation station with10 inch radar / plotter / gps / weatherfax, vhf and ssb radio's and sat. phone. There is a computer work station and area for printer and scanner with storage cabinets and drawers. There is still room for movable seating arrangements for conversational grouping or viewing the flat screen TV. |

| Twin 16000 BTU air conditioning
units cool the salon area, or nine fully screened hatches can be
opened so it is possible to close the salon doors and still have
ventilation. Salon area light is provided by 14 recessed Halogen
lights that are in convenient groups and activated by multiple switches,
there is also soft indirect lighting. The sound system consists of
8 Bose speakers that carry sound from the am/fm/ satellite radio
cd/dvd player, your Ipod, or the dvd movies you watch to the salon
and cockpit, or the foredeck, from the speakers mounted on the mast
spreaders. |

Port hull has large 'his and hers' staterooms fore and aft, each stateroom has en suite head and shower, these are spacious and comfortable cabins. All cabins have individual 6500 btu. air conditioning units with touch control pads. There are large storage drawers under the beds, hanging lockers, smaller lockers and convenient storage shelfs. Multiple opening port lights and overhead hatches provide light and ventilation assisted by 12 volt fans. All ports and hatches have bug and privacy screens. | Starboard hull has the galley,
this has greatly improved access via the modified steps down from salon,
and sensible hand rail is provided. The galley is very light, open
and airy and has overhead hatch and side port light. The
air conditioning provides a good flow to that important area when desired.
there is room for two persons to work and The cabinet storage space
is possibly double that of any other catamaran in its size range. A
large double door stainless steel refrigerator freezer has 220 volt,
engine drive and 12 volt dc systems. There is a built in convection
microwave and three burner propane cook top and oven. A double stainless
steel sink is mounted in the Corion countertops. There is generous
lighting provided by overhead and undercounter lights. |

Aft is a double cabin with en suite head and shower, forward is a cabin with a large single bed and two bunks, en suite head and shower and hanging and storage lockers. |
